25 August 2012 here is a look at AR1554 at 3.2m focal length with SM90DS in grade 1 to grade 3 seeing conditions.

4 August 2012 here is a huge explosive filament movie. This was such an unusual and spectacular event that I have taken 12 frames from GONG site for El Teide date placed at front end of sequence to show the whole event this sequence now runs from 11:26 to 13:27UT [El Teide date 11:26 to 12:15UT]. Filmed in grade 2 seeing conditions captured with PST.

19 July 2012 here are some post flare loops associated with the end of an M7.7-class solar flare sequence from 08:56 to 11:56UT captured with PST.

3 December 2011 here is a huge limb blast between 11-08 and 11-34UT. PST capture on alt-azimuth mount – seeing grade 2. Captured with PST.
